Who we are?
Gresley Rovers Girls FC are a football club for girls aged between 4 -16 based in Church Gresley, South Derbyshire.
We are a proud part of the wider Gresley Rovers FC Family.
Formed in 2022, we are an FA approved Wildcats Centre, and we work in conjunction with Derbyshire FA, Active South Derbyshire and the local schools to provide a safe, fun and friendly environment for girls to play football.
We are a not for profit club and have weekly training sessions and matches. Girls of all abilities are welcome to come training.

Anna Elm
Head of Girls Football
Hi im Anna and a football mum of 2. My daughter plays for Gresley Girls and really enjoys it.
My goal is to ensure my kids thrive and enjoy what they love and with my roles in the club I want to ensure more girls can continue to love football and experience matches and day outs outside of training too so they can strengthen bonds with the girls and create friends for life.
Gresley girls isn't just a football club for me but more like a second family.

Gill Pettit
Club Welfare Officer
I’m Gill, welfare officer for the club. I love football but as a Leeds fan living in a house full of Derby fans it can be tough.
Both my girls play for Gresley and I have loved watching their confidence grow in such a supportive and happy environment.
I was asked to take on the role of CWO as my background is in education and safeguarding. I want to make sure everyone is safe as well as happy at the club and look forward to seeing the club grow from strength to strength.

Hi my name is Tim and I'm one of the year 5 coaches, I was offered the chance to help coach this very special team by Simon and Olivia , who welcomed me and my family with open arms.
I am also an actual lifelong fan of Gresley Rovers so when my own daughter's team was created I couldn't believe that I would,
1. Do something special with my own daughter/ girls football,
2. With the club I love dearly, the team I love my very own daughter plays for ❤
My main interests are anything Gresley Rovers FC, music , walking and days out with my family.
I'm so proud to be involved with the team and watch this special groups journey ❤
